It isn’t secret that Tesla Motors gladly hires veterans: they’re disciplined, talented, intelligent, and, most importantly, they’re terrific team players.

The have tons of useful skills that Tesla appreciates in its employees.

Here’s what Alexis Georgeson, Senior Public Relations Representative at Tesla Motors, said on that:

5625.jpg“We are hiring veterans as part of our efforts to hire the best and most exceptional talent in the world. Veterans are a wonderful fit at Tesla because of the advanced technical, electrical and mechanical skills they learn while in the service.”

“They also bring integrity, discipline, teamwork and leadership skills that fit well in the Tesla environment, where we challenge employees to think creatively and to work hard toward our mission to transform transportation. Our military recruiting efforts are building momentum with veteran numbers averaging 6 percent of our U.S. employee population.”

Well, after such statements it can clearly be seen how important veterans are for Tesla.

They’re really valuable and irreplaceable employees for the company – we have to agree on the fact that such traits as a discipline are rare as hell, especially in the contemporary world.

No wonder Tesla wanted to show its respect to these people somehow.

Paying respect to veterans

So, here’s how it has been done: Tesla has created a special edition of the Tesla Model X and produced a few vehicles.

Then, the company randomly has chosen some veterans and has given them brand-new Tesla Model X vehicles as gifts.

Cool, isn’t it?

I’m pretty sure $100+ gifts were highly appreciated by veterans.

The other side of the coin

We are smart enough to understand that gifts were given to veterans not just to salute them, but also to promote Model X model and attract more veterans to Tesla Motors.

However, let’s not be that meticulous.

Overall, Tesla does a great job and we highly commend the company's outreach and aggressive hiring of U.S. military veterans.

Thanks for that.
