Yebbujana R all-electric vehicle concept accelerates from zero to 60mph (100km/h) in just 4.6 seconds, has a top speed of 130 mph (200km/h), can travel up to 570 km (355 miles) on a single charge at speed of 37mph and will cost only $40,000 --much less than its analogues.

South Korea-based firm Power Plaza showed production-ready EV concept that can travel up to 570km (355 miles) at a speed of 60km/h (37 mph) per charge, accelerates from 0 to 60 mph (100km/h) in just 4.6 seconds and has a top speed of 130 mph (200km/h).
The Yebbujana R EV was exhibited at the 28th International Electric Vehicle Symposium and Exhibition (EVS 28), which took place from May 3 to 6, 2015.
Are you impressed by the numbers? Well,be prepared to be impressed even more for the sports car will cost only $40,000 - much less in comparance to its analogues.
But why it is so cheap? Are there some pitfalls?
Well, let's have a closer look and figure it out.
The name “Yebbujana” translates roughly to "Isn't it pretty?"
The Yebbujana R is Power Plaza's two-seat roadster concept. Like the 2+2-seat Yebbujana S4 coupe, the R features a one-piece floor pan and body panels fabricated entirely of carbon fibre composite, with honeycomb sandwich panels imparting structural stiffness and a bumper-height impact bar on all four sides to improve crashworthiness. The coupe, complete with a lithium-ion battery pack beneath the seats, tips the scales at a 1,377lbs (625kg) - about 1,000lbs less than the new Mazda MX-5 Miata.
A carbon fiber-reinforced plastic was applied to the body of the electric vehicle to reduce weight, realizing a drive range longer than 500km. The mass of the body is 745kg.
According to Power Plaza, the auto body consists of an underpiece, doors, hood, rear, etc, and all of them are made of CFRP.
Providing the go is a low-voltage version of the electric motor in Fiat's 500e, rated at 38 horsepower and 80 pound-feet of torque.
TheYebbujana R uses cylindrical lithium-ion battery cells called "18650." The total capacity of the cells is 54kWh.
A frew words about the company
Power Plaza company was established in 1991 and since then has been dealing with switching power modules and developing EVs under its own brand. Thus far, it has developed six kinds of EVs (1t and 0.5t pickup trucks and four passenger cars) and launched them into the market. So, the Yebbujana R is the company's seventh EV.
Well, as you can see, there're no pitfalls in there. The company is absolutely real and has quite relevan experience in EV production.
Let's wish them good luck and wait for the seventh model to go on the assembly line as soon as it is possible.
