Rimac Concept One is one of my favorite supercars for one simple reason: speed. Where other automakers have focused on range, luxury, and alleviating customer fears, the Rimac Concept One was engineered with one purpose in mind - to be the world's fastest pure electric supercar.
As a result, we've received a hypercar that can easily put other vehicles(even Ferrari) in its place.

Rimac Concept One was designed by a 24-year old wunderkin named Mate Rimac, a Croatian-native with some serious talent.
Why this car is so fast?
That’s because the Concept One uses four separate electric motors, one at each wheel, to deliver a mind-blowing 1,088 horsepower.
That’s enough power to make the 0 to 60 MPH sprint in just 2.8 seconds, less time than it took you to read this sentence. Rimac claims a top speed of 190 MPH(305 km), and a 373 mile (600km) driving range from the 91 kWh battery pack, which is even larger than the battery in the top-trim Tesla Model D.
A system called All Wheel Torque Vectoring also helps give the Rimac exceptional handling compared to more primitive combustion-powered hypercars. Having a motor on every wheel is a unique advantage that no combustion car can match.
Each wheel can independently accelerate or decelerate hundreds of times per second, helping to achieve the desired (driver selectable) handling. Together with the very low center of gravity, extremely high torque available almost from zero RPM and the lack of shift interruptions, the Concept_One delivers a completely new driving experience.
As much as I loved the Concept One from the get-go, it was always one of those cars I never expected to make it past the concept phase.But luckily, I was wrong.
According to the Croatian company, who has announced it is about to sign a €15 million ($20.8 million) deal with investors from South America and Asia, Left Lane News reports.
More than half the sum will be coming from Colombian tycoon Frank Kanayet Yepes, a wealthy investor in the energy industry known for his passion for supercars. He will be pouring €8 million ($11.1 million) into Rimac Automobile in addition to purchasing one of the first Concept One units.
The remaining cash infusion will come straight from Hong Kong, with mineral company Sinocop Resources paying €5 million ($6.9 million) for a 10 percent stake in the company and a further €2 million ($2.8 million) in stock.
The manufacturer has yet to reveal when the first Concept One will be completed, but founder Mate Rimac said there are "six cars in the pipeline", with each one to cost about $1 million.
How this car can affect global market?
If Rimac manages to roll out a production version of the Concept One with the same specifications as the concept car , a new supercar era could soon be upon us, in which other automakers will be spurred to develop ultra-high-performance EVs.
